Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reclaimed wood is lumber carefully salvaged from historic structures, often built 100–300 years ago. Each beam carries the patina, tool marks, and character of its past life, then is repurposed and given new life in modern spaces.

  • We primarily offer Longleaf Pine, Cypress, Oak, White Pine, Hemlock, and Douglas Fir.

If your preferred species is not currently in stock, we can recommend comparable reclaimed alternatives or source specific materials to meet your project’s aesthetic needs.

  • Each piece can be left in its natural finish or finished to the buyer’s preferred look upon request.

  • Contact us with dimensions, species preference, and delivery location (beam mantels-for pick-up only). We’ll provide a custom quote and lead time.

  • Yes. We coordinate freight shipping throughout the U.S.

However, beam mantels and boards for floating shelves are not shipped due to logistics and cost considerations — the freight charge for a single mantel often exceeds the price of the item itself. These items are available only for local pick-up.

Unless the order is in bulk, in which case we can arrange freight shipping upon request.

  • Because each piece of reclaimed wood is unique, sizes and lengths vary depending on the original structure it came from. We routinely stock hand-hewn and industrial timbers ranging from 4×4 to 12× 16 inches, with lengths up to 30 feet or more, depending on species and current inventory.

If you need specific dimensions or matching sets, please contact us— we can often source or cut to your required size and recommend suitable reclaimed alternatives when stock is limited.

  • Shipping costs vary depending on the delivery location, order size, and freight carrier rates.
